World Zombie Record (Almost)

Our friends across the pond took a stab at the world record for most zombies in one place, but fell short.

The U.S. set the record in 2012 with 4,093, while the attempt in the UK brought in 2,113. However, while it wasn't the world record, it did shatter the previous UK record, and that's pretty darned cool.

Being an American, I'm proud we have the record, but honestly, if they had broken it, that would be fine, too. We may live in different countries, but we're ALL zombie fans, and deep down underneath our rotten flesh, our blood is the same… coagulated… and that's all that matters.

"CPR Makes You Undead"

When it came time to create a new public service announcement, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada decided to hop on the zombie train to get their point across.

According to their Director of Health Promotion and Public Affairs, "The Goal of the campaign is to raise public awareness and promote hands-only CPR."

On October 25, they'll be using the video to attempt the Guinness World Record for largest number of people trained in CPR at one time. Yep. There's a record for that, and it's currently held by Singapore where 7,909 people were trained in CPR at once. (I know. I had no idea either.)

"The Walking Dead, Cold Storage" pt. 2

Yesterday we saw the first of four new webisodes from our pals at AMC's "The Walking Dead." In an effort to get away from a blood-thirsty horde, Chase got himself cornered in a matter of seconds and all seemed doomed ... until someone blasted the zombies chasing him into vegetable soup. Who could it have been?

New "Walking Dead" Webisodes!

The season three premiere of AMC's "The Walking Dead" is fast approaching, and to help get us in the mood to swing a pick axe and take out some zombies, they have released a new webisode series called "Walking Dead, Cold Storage." It's four installments are about 4 minutes each and take place during a single afternoon sometime around the beginning of the end of the world.

I Love Zombies, But...

As I mentioned in an EARLIER POST, zombies are my kind of my thing, but I do have other interests.

For B'hold Designs, zombie creation was kind of an accident. In the early days of B'HQ, many images and projects passed thru our hallowed halls before somebody dropped plutonium into the toaster and a whole new direction for us was born.

Recently, I was chasing a superball down the basement steps, and fell over stumbled upon some of those early images. They were covered in dust and webs, but they brought back some fond memories of days gone by.

I hope you enjoy them. Just toss 'em back in the basement when you're done... and let me know if you find my superball.
