Happy Halloween!

So I'm sitting around my house today... just kicking back watching some scary movies and eating the candy we're supposed to hand out today when it hits me... I haven't wished my loyal follower(s) a Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween. There ya go.

Also! There's some interesting news that I haven't reported yet:

1. AMC has renewed "The Walking Dead" for a 5th season! That means our lovable gang of zombie hunters will continue smashing rotted skulls for another year (should any of them survive this season)! Will that mean more mega-herds? Will Daryl survive? Will Carol and Daryl hook up? Will Michonne and Daryl hook up? Will the Governor ever reappear?? Will Herschel grow a new leg?? We'll just have to wait and see.

2. There is a trend right now that can only be described as disturbingly awesome, and that is.... zombie weddings! A couple in Ohio went full on undead recently for their special day. Zombie flower girl, zombie bride and groom.. the whole bit. Check out their photos HERE.

Looks like fun, right? Need a zombie wedding dress?? Check out THIS PLACE.

3. Are you new here? Would you like a little zombie 101? Check out this cool infographic I found HERE.

Now, if you go out and about tonight, be careful. There are people everywhere, and even though we here at B'HQ are keeping an eye on the perimeter, some of them just might be brain-eaters.

Aim high. Run fast. Happy Halloween!

Holy Freaking Mega-Herd!

Warning: Spoilers Ahead!

Wow! What an episode....

Tyreese is so pissed that someone set his girlfriend on fire that he tried to beat up Rick (who goes overboard in his response), Glenn and Sasha have this nasty flu bug that's been flying around, Daryl and Michonne show a little chemistry, and we see the BIGGEST MEGA-HERD we've EVER seen on the show (I'm pretty sure Bob crapped his pants...seriously, look at his face)!

It worked out though, because Tyreese found a healthy outlet for his rage and launched himself into the zombie-slayer hall of fame!

Oh and by the way, CAROL is the one who torched Tyreese's woman!

Let's hear it straight from those involved:

Would You Like Brains With That?

We love zombies, and we love burgers... I guess it was only a matter of time before someone, somewhere combined the two.

The Zombie Burger and Drink Lab in Des Moines, Iowa knows that great food needs great atmosphere, and what better atmosphere than an apocalypse of shambling, moaning, reanimated corpses!

B'hold Designs Zombie Parade!

If I had a dollar for everytime someone said to me "Help me, Brett!! I want to see your (celebrity name) zombie, but I can't find it on your website or blog" I'd be broke... because no one says that.

However... in the interest of solving problems before they arise, I have created a fun little gallery on Flickr, where any and everyone can go and check out the fruits of the B'hold Designs Zombification Machine (patent pending)!

Check it out HERE!!!

Now go, my zombie minions, and spread the word far and wide that there's a new gallery showcasing various attempts to be funny by a photoshop nerd with far too much time on his hands!

Aim high. Run fast. Enjoy.

Infected!

Warning: Spoilers Ahead!

Oh, that Patrick. One minute he feels like he might throw-up, and the next, he's making a buffet out of some poor member of Club Cell Block who sleeps WAY too deep for someone living in the throws of a zombie apocalypse.

As if zombies and body odor weren't bad enough, it looks like it's flu season for our heroes! Patrick started a chain reaction of undead and they lost a lot of people. Meanwhile, someone is feeding the walkers at the fence, and you know what happens when you feed stray zombies... they just don't leave.

Now their numbers are so big that they're coming closer and closer to brining the fence down! The one good thing about it is that it forces "farmer Rick" back into his natural leadership role... and he strapped his gun back on his hip.

Check out this run down of the episode straight from the mouths of everyone involved.

Is This the SWEETEST Ride for the Zombie Apocalypse?

When the zombies come, people are going to be driving all over the place and, most likely, clogging up the main roads. The hope of your familys survival may very well rest "off the beaten path!" Can your '98 Honda Civic with a loose muffler handle high water, rough terrain, or deep snow? Then you might want to get yourself one of these...

Introducing the RESCUE from Ghe-O Motors of Romania. A 3.2 ton truck, it boasts use of either gas or diesel. Designed primarily for rescue work, it might just be the perfect vehicle for your traveling band of survivors.

Not only does it look cool, but it sports a 163 gallon water tank, pneumatic airbags on the wheels that inflate to provide better buoyancy in the water, additional wheels at the back to catch the truck if it happens to tip during near vertical ascents, holds a place for a medical stretcher, AND can seat up to eleven people!

"MythBusters: Zombie Special" airs tonight and will put zombie lore to the ultimate test! For assistance, they are going to the man himself, Greg Nicotero, for advise and insight on the undead... AND Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon) will be joining in on the fun, too!

Check out this great promo clip, and check out the show tonight at 10 p.m. on Discovery!

Creepy Clara and Farmer Rick

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

My all-time favorite tv program, AMC's "The walking Dead" returned last Sunday to a HUGE 16+million viewed season four premiere, and my how things have changed.

You may remember at the end of season three, Rick told the prison group he was not their governor, and he apparently meant it. Things are now decided on by a council, made up of a handful of the original group (plus Sasha), and Rick is outside playing farmer to a make-shift farm, complete with crops and some livestock.

The Woodbury people seem to be well-adjusted to their new home, and Daryl is living the rock star life as everyone sees him as the awesome guy he really is.

In fact, everything seems just peachy at "Club Cell Block," which is reason enough to cringe in anticipation of what has got to be right around the corner...and it all started with Creepy Clara, and a simple trip to the PX.!

Oh! And Herschel found a prosthetic leg, Carl has friends near his own age, Beth's boyfriend gets eaten and she acts like it's no big deal, people (and pigs) are getting sick, there are TONS of fence zombies (and one has bleeding eyes), Carol is secretly teaching knife-use to kids because Rick is against it ??!?...

Well, I could go on with my thoughts and interpretation of the episode, but why not hear it from the cast and crew themselves?

8 Things...

As Season Four of AMC's "The Walking Dead" gets geared up to start THIS SUNDAY we're all super excited and, if you're like me, you're more than a little nervous. That show is famous for "keeping it real" by killing off unexpected members of the gang. Some might say even Rick isn't safe, though I'd be really, REALLY surprised if he was made into walker chow.

But, even if we don't know what to expect, our little band of heroes probably do, right?. All their characters have changed and evolved as they've become used to living in a post-apocalyptic wonderland. In fact, there can't be that many life lessons left, can there?

PopSugar seems to think so. Check out their short video, "8 Things the Walking Dead Characters Should Know By Now."

Now THAT'S a Zombie Horde!

Congratulations are in order for everyone involved in the 6th Annual New Jersey Zombie Walk for setting a world record for largest ever!

This year, the zombie walk was paired with the "Stronger than the Storm" campaign, dedicated to showing the resilience of their community in the wake of Hurrican Sandy.

New Jersey Zombie Walk creator, Jason Meehan was quoted as saying "The zombie walk sends a message that the storm didn't knock us down - we are unbreakable."

With an official adjudicator for Guinness World Records watching from atop the Convention Hall, a total of 9,592 people decked out as undead went shuffling into the record books. No word on anyone being devoured.

Undead Heisenberg

Between the demise of AMC's "Breaking Bad" (argued by many to be one of the greatest shows of  all time), and the recent mash-up video by College Humor combining both it AND "The Walking Dead"(argued by me to be the greatest show ever), I found myself inspired to take to the old zombification machine once again.

For those of you that don't know, deep within the bowels of B'HQ sits an amazing advance in the world of human/zombie relations. The B'hold Designs Zombification Machine (patent pending) is more than a bunch of wires duct taped to an old washing machine and powered by an Atari 6400 we found at a yard sale. It's a physical forecast, if you will, of the visual possibilities on that dark day when Uncle Leon rises from the grave and tries to eat your face.

So, without further ado, I present the "Heisenberg Zombie!"

I hope that instead of sadness at the passing of "Breaking Bad," this image of fictional Walter White turned into a moaning undead will instead bring hope and joy as we jump up and down with childlike glee for Season Four of "The Walking Dead" which starts ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!

The Oath, pt. 3

You know, for being near death, Paul can fight zombies pretty well! So, is the nurse a whacko, or a good person whose caring nature has been twisted by her surroundings? What happens to Karina? Will she and Paul be reunited? Will we get a happy ending, or one filled with hopelessness??

Check out this final chapter and see:

The Oath, pt. 1

We're less than two weeks away from the return of AMC's "The Walking Dead", and I am bouncing off the freaking walls!! No doubt I'm not alone in said bouncing, and, fortunately for us, the wonderful crew behind what I consider "the single greatest show in the universe" is aware of, and sympathetic toward our plight!

They see us begging for scraps like drooling dogs under the dinner table, and they have tossed us something delicious!

This is the first of a three part webisode entitled "The Oath." Check it out:

The Greatest Show Ever?

Recently, AMC's "Breaking Bad" ended a brilliant run with record-breaking numbers. The show fused brilliant writing with amazing actors to create something that will live on forever.

As you know, "The Walking Dead" is also an incredible, record-breaking show with brilliant writing and amazing actors.

But... what if they were combined into ONE program?

Enter those mischievous scamps at College Humor! They've created a great promo for just such a show. Check it out:
