We all know that zombies are everywhere these days. The world is suddenly full of zombie fans, although 15 years ago, most of them would have mocked we TRUE fans of the undead for enjoying such a thing.
It has been fun watching the virus-like spread of zombie fanaticism take over the world, but even I had no idea it would reach this far.
Did you know...at Michigan State University, students can enroll in a seven-week summer course that examines the way people behave during catastrophes? During the summer, they'll explore the way humans behave in times of turmoil. Divided into teams, they'll be placed in a zombie apocalypse situation and tasked with handling various situations.
If you liked that, you'll love this... At Lone Star College-Montgomery, a course was offered last spring that focused on the cultural impact of zombies. Students were given "World War Z" by Max Brooks to read, watched zombie-centric films, held "blood and food drives" and even played capture the flag, with some of the students dressed as the undead.
Of course nothing is as exciting as attending school HERE!
