Z World Detroit

Have you ever driven past abandoned factories or boarded up homes and pictured it surrounded by the undead? Maybe you've envisioned yourself on the inside, doing whatever you can to fortify your shelter from the endless sea of zombies that pound on the walls and windows.

Now that you've imagined that... imagine THIS:

Several buildings just like that, covering several square blocks, all walled in creating one huge zombie theme park where you could run for your life all. night. long.

Someone is trying to get something like that going in Detroit and it sounds amazing! If you'd like to help, you can donate to the project HERE.

Check it out:

Aim high. Run fast. Good luck, Z World Detroit!

    1. I know and it's killing me! We have DISH, and they have officially pulled the plug on AMC. Be sure and watch tomorrow night around 8:00 pm. Talking Dead will be live with some inside scoops on season three as well as footage from the set! I'll have to watch it online a day or so later....

  3. Oh man, sorry to hear that! Do you know if there's a website where you can watch the episodes for free? It stinks if you'll have to pay for each episode now!

    1. Well, it's still a while before October gets here so I'm hoping they'll change their minds before then. If not, I THINK that AMC shows them online the next day. If not, I can always buy them on itunes. It's just a pain. I'd much rather watch them on my tv than my computer.

It's interesting. Everything I've read from Dish says they're doing it to keep their customers costs down, but even though they took the one channel that means the most to me and given me a crappy channel I'll never watch they haven't said anything about about giving me a discount.

  4. I hear ya. It's a real bum deal you Dish customers got. I'm with you, I don't really dig watching things on the computer either. I hope you guys get AMC back.

I read that AMC was trying to charge too much and trying to bundle some package or something that would have made it too expensive for Dish... I also read that they pulled the same stunt with Direct TV too at one point. I don't know, I just think the whole thing stinks.

    1. I read that, too. Then I read AMC reps saying that dish wasn't even willing to negotiate (their prerogative I guess), but that it also had more to do with an upcoming lawsuit between Dish and AMC, so who the heck knows.
