Dish is Removing AMC!!!

The unthinkable is happening. Dish Network is removing (or may have already) AMC from it's line up!! That means no access to new episodes of "The Walking Dead!!"

While I have no idea what has gone on in the corporate offices of Dish and AMC to bring such a tragedy about, I feel we - as loyal fans of the show - must do something to try and stop this from happening. And it's not just for October's premiere, but "Talking Dead" has a special sneak peek NEXT MONTH!!

Here's the Dish info (as provided by AMC). Let's rattle their cage a bit and see if we can save our favorite show!

  1. Call 855-KEEP-AMC or go to WWW.KEEPAMC.COM
  2. Contact DISH on Twitter by tweeting to @dish & @dish_answers.
  3. Email DISH executives directly and tell them you don't want to lose your favorite channels:
Charlie Ergen, Chairman of the Board: charlie.ergen@echostar.com
Joe Clayton, President and CEO: joseph.clayton@dishnetwork.com
Tom Cullen, Executive Vice President: thomas.cullen@dishnetwork.com
Dave Schull, SVP, Programming: dave.shull@dishnetwork.com
Carolyn Crawford, VP, Programming: carolyn.crawford@dishnetwork.com

Aim high. Run fast. Cross your fingers.

  1. I've got comcast, so I'm safe. If dish drops AMC, will you be able to see the episodes on itunes?

    1. Hey Trina! I believe they're available on itunes the next day, and maybe even on AMC the next day. I just really like the idea of seeing them on my tv and archiving them on my DVR.

  3. Hey, I read that it isn't true about Dish getting rid of AMC. That AMC is moving to a higher channel... You might want to give Dish a call and see if that's true!

    1. You might be right about that. I did get a form letter reply from the head guru at Dish talking about moving AMC to a higher spot, and it's that way now on mine, but I'm thinking that's a temporary spot during this ongoing argument between the two... not sure though.
