Huge "30 Odd" Honor

Deep within the bowels of B'hold Designs... miles beneath the earth's crust... is the B'HQ Vault of Time and History. Within these walls sits a lone scribe whose sole purpose in life is to put ink to parchment and record the chronicles of our company.

In his time, he has recorded births, deaths, rebirths, zombie exterminations, belching contest winners, celebrity encounters, and who's responsible for what smells in the bathroom.

Now, he has something amazing to record.

Somehow, our pals at 30 Odd Minutes have not only tolerated our antics and hijinxs, they've bestowed an incredible honor upon me, as B'hold Designs founder and dictator-for-life.

Yours truly is now... an "Honorary Oddball."

My thanks to Jeff and his crew. They are truly an awesome group of people that do an incredible job... both in their paranormal research, and in their ability to put up with my shenanigans.

Zombies and UFO's

Remember our good buddies from 30 Odd Minutes? Sure you do. They're the good folks who were tricked persuaded to try out the old B'hold Designs zombification machine! Refresh your memory HERE.

Well, imagine my surprise when Jeff paid a visit to B'HQ with a request for design services! Naturally our four-eyed whiz bangs threw down their copies of Cracked magazine and went right to work designing a new computer console, as well as new setups for their Communications and News departments! We spent the better part of a month in their spaceship, taking measurements, installing software, and raiding their break room fridge.

Finally, they kicked us out we finished and the results were not only adequate, but they were also satisfactory! Huzzah!

Jeff and his crew do a fantastic job, so enjoy the show, and see if you can spot the new set designs lovingly created by your pals at B'hold Designs!

Becoming Michonne

The third season of AMC's "The Walking Dead" is fast approaching! It looks to be an amazing season with new characters fresh from the pages of the comic series.

One of those characters is the butt-kicking, sword-swinging "Michonne" played by Danai Gurira. Playing her has got to be an honor, but imagine the work involved!

A Stroll Around the Prison Yard

As I mentioned earlier this morning, the fantastic zombie apocalypse drama "The Walking Dead" is returning for season three in just a couple of weeks, and the four-eyed nerds here at B'HQ are giggling and squealing like 11 year old girls at Bieber-palooza.

The Return of Awesomeness

We are only a few weeks away from the return of the most amazing television show of all time... AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Season one and two were astounding as we came to know, love, and in some cases, hate the survivors of the "Georgia branch" of the zombie apocalypse. Season three looks to blow them both away in terms of action, horror, suspense, grief and full-on fear!

Top Prize for "The Walking Dead" Makeup Crew!

Ever heard of the Creative Arts Emmys? Me either, but guess what? It exists, and AMC's "The Walking Dead" was given the award for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for the season 2 premiere!

It's the second time that the talented artists behind the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH have won this award, and Special FX Makeup Designer and Co-Executive Producer Greg Nicotero and his KNB EFX team beat some serious competition to get it! Congratulations to the entire team!!

More Zombie Apocalypse Training

First, the CDC posts instructions on surviving a zombie apocalypse, then the Dept. of Homeland Security does something similar… both explained as "tongue in cheek" ways of promoting readiness for actual disasters.

Now it seems law enforcement and the military and preparing for undead as well.

Security firm HALO Corp. will incorporate zombies into a disaster/crisis scenario at the Company's annual Counter-Terrorism Summit in San Diego geared to more than 1,000 military, law enforcement, and medical personnel.

Training will commence on a 44 acre island, where zombies will harass participants as they try to do their jobs. According to HALO, it's meant to challenge those experts in working under extreme circumstances where people "become crazed and violent, creating widespread fear and disorder."

Of course it's all in good fun, and HALO is merely jumping on the zombie popularity bandwagon… there are no real zombies....right?
