Remember the guy in Miami, that was so baked on the new "bath salt" drug that he committed a horrible attack on a homeless guy by eating his face? He sparked a nation-wide fear of an actual zombie apocalypse that was so intense that the CDC felt it was necessary to put out an official "there are no zombies" announcement.

Well apparently, someone in Miami thought it might be funny to play on the recent fears and run around dressed as a zombie. I don't know if this is an incredible example of courage, or just a blatant display of stupidity.

Zombie FX for Halloween!

It's getting close.

I'm speaking of the time of year when the friendly summer breeze turns a little chilly... and even foreboding. The brightness of the sky dims, the leaves scatter across the street and little children go door to door asking complete strangers for candy.

Yes, Halloween is fast approaching, and it's never too early to plan your costume. Whether you're taking your little one door to door, or hiding behind that spooky tree in your yard in an effort to cause life-long emotional scars, costumes are an important part of the holiday!

And considering the explosion of popularity zombies have had in pop culture the last few years,  I'm sure the majority of disguises chosen for this holiday will be undead in nature.

The publicity stabs at Dish continue as AMC takes their campaign to raise public awareness of the situation to new heights by nominating their own candidate for president!

Previously, I showed you how zombies took to the streets of New York (see it HERE). Now the first ever zombie presidential candidate has shuffled forward in an effort to urge Dish customers to "rise up" against the satellite provider and find a new way to receive AMC.

The "A. Zombie for President" campaign has it's own WEBSITE, TWITTER feed, and even a cross-country bus tour.

"The Walking Dead" is basic cables highest rated drama of ALL TIME in the males 18-49 category… that's a lot of zombie nerds (myself included). If AMC's publicity stunts have the effect they're hoping for, then that could be one significant mass exodus from Dish to either cable or DirecTV.

Who will win this game of "network chicken"? I don't know. I just want my zombies back.

We Rearranged the Furniture!

You know when you spill something on your rug and then you clean it, and the clean spot shows you just how dirty the rest of your rug is? So you work on it and by the time it's all over with you've remodeled your house and dug a swimming pool? That's kind of what happened here.

Once that was complete, we thought this blog could stand to be spruced up a bit. Notice the name change? This blog has become 99% zombie news, so why not reflect it in the name?

Need a Zombie Bunker?, pt. 3

In case you're still undecided about where to stay when the zombies come shufflin' along, AND you have about $300,000 burning a hole in your pocket, how about this little beauty in Virginia?
